Bence Turányi Born in 1974 in Budapest. He graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of Architecture of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2004, T2.a Architect Office (www.t2a.hu) was founded together with his father, Gábor Turányi, where they have been working together ever since. In their work, they represent an open-minded approach that puts intellectual and technical innovation at the forefront, seeking a balance of architectural, technical and economic aspects, regardless of scale and function. Their names are associated with several public buildings that are at the forefront of contemporary architecture. Most notably the Roosevelt Office Building, Sportmax2 at Csörsz street, Hotel Novotel Danue, the rehabilitation of the Kopaszi Dam and the Simplon Garden. Their work is frequenty published in Hungarian and international magazines and in the last few years they've received numerous awards.
The design office has experience in the field of architecture and has gained recognition in the profession. Over the past two decades, plans for a plethora of family homes, condominiums and office buildings have come to light, but their work extends to larger-scale urban planning and urban rehabilitation projects.
In the category of Multi-Residential Real Estate Architecture, they got in the European League, and in two entered categories their residential real estate development was chosen as Best of Hungary.
